Update!! Bye Bye Birdie is scheduled for May 4,6 & 7, 2025 Update on the dates!

The referendum plan for our schools was developed using results from expert assessments of our buildings and feedback provided directly by community members in listening sessions and surveys over the last several months.
Our community called on our district to prioritize investments in fundamental parts of our school buildings like roofing, electrical systems, and handicap accessibility in places like restrooms. Repairs and updates to these areas are core parts of the referendum plan, since many of them are simply too expensive to complete with our maintenance budget alone.
Stop by the referendum open house on Wednesday, April 30 at the elementary school from 4:00-6:00 p.m. to learn more about how the referendum plan was developed and what it aims to accomplish for our schools!

H- Help the Earth & Hat Day on Tuesday! 🧢🌎

Our school buildings have reliably served thousands of Langdon area students and play key roles in our community as sites for activities, events and athletics. But as they age, they've required growing repairs and maintenance. In some cases - such as with the buildings' electrical systems - repairs are not possible because key parts can no longer be found. In others, a single repair (such as the replacement of a section of roofing) can exceed our entire annual maintenance budget.
The June 10 referendum aims to preserve the longevity of our schools for future generations and stay on top of their needs with a comprehensive plan to address the most critical maintenance, security, and learning space needs.

One of our 4th grade classes had an egg-cellent time at Maple Manor today! 🐣 They dyed Easter eggs 🥚🎨 with the residents and shared lots of smiles and laughs. ❤️

Recently, Mrs. Lill's 2nd graders made interesting drawings of different animals mashed together to create unique creatures. Then Mrs. Lill's high school sculpture students built those creatures from clay and other materials. Last Friday, we surprised the 2nd graders with the finished creations. It was a special challenge for the high school students who really leaned into the 2nd graders' creative energy. What a fun activity!
