On Tuesday, March 31st the high school band hosted guest clinician Maisy Lindseth. Miss Lindseth is a percussionist from Grand Forks. She holds degrees in medical laboratory science and music from the University of North Dakota. Maisy has a long history of receiving top ratings at concerts, contests, and festivals at the middle school, high school, collegiate, and professional levels. Students performed their contest selections followed by a coaching session. Maisy offered great insight to all students on how to best prepare for success at instrumental contest. It was a great experience for all involved.

🌍✈️ Tour of Countries – Reading Month at LAES! 📚🏅 From 🇺🇸 USA to 🇨🇦 Canada, 🇫🇷 France to 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇳🇴 Norway to 🇨🇭 Switzerland, 🇸🇪 Sweden to 🇮🇹 Italy… each stop brought new learning, excitement, and fun activities for our students! Our students “traveled” across the globe, exploring new countries and cultures. 🌎❤️

Reading Olympics Closing Ceremony! 📚🏅 What an incredible month of reading at LAES! We wrapped up our Reading Olympics with our Closing Ceremony, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students! 🥇🥈🥉 We celebrated our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalists for each country! These were the top readers for the month. Their hard work and reading commitment paid off! 👏 A SPECIAL shoutout to our Reading Challenge Finishers—these students went above and beyond by taking on our extra reading challenge for the month. 🍎✨ Shout Out to Our Amazing Paraprofessionals! ✨📚 Last week we celebrated Para Appreciation Day & School Librarian Appreciation Day with these wonderful ladies. On Wednesday, we enjoyed an App(reciation) Day Lunch—just a small thank you for the HUGE impact they make every day. 🧁🥨🍓

Boys golf will begin April 7, at the high school in the library. Physicals must be uploaded to the athletic registration page prior to this date. Please sign up in the office if you have not yet had the chance.
