Reading Olympics Closing Ceremony! 📚🏅
What an incredible month of reading at LAES! We wrapped up our Reading Olympics with our Closing Ceremony, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students!
🥇🥈🥉 We celebrated our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalists for each country! These were the top readers for the month. Their hard work and reading commitment paid off!
👏 A SPECIAL shoutout to our Reading Challenge Finishers—these students went above and beyond by taking on our extra reading challenge for the month.

Taskmaster - LAHS style! Middle and High School students have been completing challenges in their Cardinal Time groups to help build relationships and use their creative and problem-solving skills.
The first challenge was to build a freestanding Cardinal bird using only the materials they found in their classroom. They did a GREAT job!
Congratulations to Mr. Groth's group for coming in 1st place! The remaining Top 5 teams - Mrs. Sanders, Mrs. Hart, Mrs. Hope, and Mrs. Gudgel!

Early dismissal due to weather. Elementary at 2:25 and Ms/Hs at 2:30. Buses will still be running. No STEAM Camp or after school activities. Guest readers at LAES will be rescheduled.
