100 days of school in Miss Avdem's first grade today! Lots of 100 year olds and many activities played to celebrate!
Mrs. Hope applied for and won the Hydroponic Tower Garden Grant sponsored by ND Department of Agriculture. The Advanced Biology students will be monitoring and learning from this project from now through May. They will be growing up to 30 plants and hope to share the produce from their garden with others.

Semester 1 Report Cards for the MS/HS have been posted on the Parent Portal in Powerschool and emailed to the parents. If you would like a paper copy one can be picked up from the HS office.
A representative from the BND will be available to present changes to the FAFSA on Monday January 22nd at 5pm in the LAHS study hall. Parents of juniors, seniors and college students are welcome. We must have a minimum registration or the presentation will be cancelled. Please email Amy.Kram@k12.nd.us by Sunday at 5pm to register.

Social Science students are selling raffle tickets to help fund their trip this spring! Drawing will be held on October 30th at halftime of the volleyball game.
HELP NEEDED
Mrs. Ring is looking for workers for the concessions for the Saturday for the football game (10/28/23). We need six workers for the 2:30 to 4:30 shift and we need three more workers for the 12:30 to 2:30 shift. At the October school board meeting a change of the school calendar was requested and approved. There will be professional development days for staff on January 2nd and April 10th. There will be no school for students that day. Please mark your calendars.
